For the company just starting out, wanting to protect their business and benefit from time-saving, enforceable legal documents, but needing limited legal support. 


Includes 1 30 min call per month.


 *Monthly options can be canceled at any time, but minimum charge of $2,000 plus tax is applicable for access to the firm templates and resources, and if not yet paid by time of cancellation, balance is payable in full. 

Important Information: Meetings with lawyers conducted Via Teams, Zoom, phone- your choice. Discussions with a lawyer may relate to questions involving our templates and resources, general business law questions, or questions related to general litigation/collections process and options. Questions related to specific other parties, (eg. an employee, a debtor, a subcontractor, a project owner, etc) are not included. This is because before we can assist you with such matters, we are required to run a conflict search to confirm if we are able to assist you with that particular inquiry. If we are able to assist you, we will discuss an engagement with you that may include a fixed fee, or hourly cost at your preferred Bundle Membership discounted rate. In the event we are not able to speak with you about certain questions, we are happy to refer you to one of our partner firms for your consideration.

better than AI is a service offering by Synthesis Legal that gives clients access to curated legal tools, resources and templates that they can use themselves- whenever they want to!  Each package also includes time with a lawyer, so that legal advice and support is available when you need it.  You get the  legal tools you need and only the support you want, allowing for control and predictability over legal services. 

Clients should be wary about relying on AI generated resources- they are often plain wrong, inadequate for their intended purpose, or are unenforceable in certain jurisdictions.  There is also the challenge of even knowing what to search for in the first place.  


The tools and resources in better than AI's Bundle Membership have been created by lawyers in British Columbia, and cover common legal issues.   The tools have been curated into easy to use resources and templates that will educate and empower businesses to tackle every day legal issues on their own... with help from a lawyer as desired. 

The better than AI Bundle Membership tools and resources have been specifically made to assist clients in British Columbia.  We recommend consulting a lawyer in your own jurisdiction for legal assistance.

For clients that would otherwise turn to self-help rather than use a lawyer, better than AI provides access to resources and legal support for common legal issues, in a way that is more accessible and affordable than traditional legal services would be. 

We are passionate about access to justice. We saw a need in the legal market for limited legal assistance on common issues by clients wanting to minimize their legal spend, but still protect their business. Many clients are comfortable taking on some of the legal work themselves, but still want a little bit of assistance from time to time.   We believe that good legal information should be available to everyone, at a cost that suits the needs of the client and the complexity of the issue.  We are proud of the value that better than AI provides!  

An amazing feature of the better than AI Bundle Membership is its flexibility- you get the legal tools you need and only the help YOU want. The Bundle Membership includes a discount to our regular hourly rates, so if you decide that you would like extra help that goes beyond the time allotted in the Bundle, it is easy to access the additional help. Very easy!  We provide an online booking tool so that you can quickly make an appointment whenever it is convenient for you. 

We don't think so!  We have created the Bundle portal with ease and accessibility in mind.   We want our legal services to be empowering- not intimidating. 


When you enter the Bundle portal, a short video will welcome you and orient you to the site.  The layout of the portal is easy to use, and if you run into any difficulty, your home page provides a link to speak with our Client Success Team, who are available to help you with any portal related questions.
